About Me
Hi, I’m Kay (they/them).
I’m a queer, non-binary, neuro-complex person of culture — a healer, a helper, and a lifelong seeker of connection and meaning. I also identify as a poet, cat guardian, yogi, beginner artist, and eternal child at heart. My work is grounded in care, curiosity, and the deep belief that healing is available in every moment.
My Path to This Work
I didn’t always know I was meant to do this work. My professional path began in education, creative writing, and community outreach. Over time, I explored holistic practices, taught yoga, worked in childcare, and managed offices — always searching for where my passion for care, embodiment, and transformation might form a career I would love.
My turning point came through personal loss. A series of family deaths revealed an ocean of grief deep within me. I began to tune into my body in ways I never had before — not to fix what I was feeling, but to listen and exist with what was. As someone who spent years feeling unsafe in my body, relying on my mind to survive, this was a profound shift. What I discovered was life-changing: the body is not just a vessel, but a guide — a source of wisdom, clarity, and truth.
Living with chronic pain and autoimmune conditions deepened this understanding. Through my own healing journey, I came to see the body as an access point — a doorway — to deeper connection, self-trust, and resilience. It was from this place that I owned my calling as a companion to others as they experienced the healing impact of their own ever-evolving connection to self.

Training & Experience
I received my Masters Degree in Integral Psychology from the California Institute of Integral Studies. I have completed a two year comprehensive program in psychotherapeutic approaches that include the Hakomi Method, a mindfulness based somatic therapy, and the RE-Creation of Self model of human systems or R-CS, through the M.E.T.A Institute. Both of these are attachment oriented and trauma informed practices. In addition to these methods I use mindfulness based CBT, Internal Family Systems (IFS) and EMDR techniques.
I combine my experiences from various mediums such as natural medicine, energy work, therapeutic touch, sound healing, archetypal astrology, intuitive development, authentic relating circles, social justice and anti-oppression work, ecofeminism, conscious philosophy, nonviolent communication training, and over twenty years of yoga and meditation practice, to serve with a holistic perspective.
